Last night, both the House and Senate passed a 38-billion-dollar state budget, which gave Governor Baker much of what he wanted.

Speaker of the Massachusetts House of Representatives  Robert DeLeo ( @SpeakerDeLeo) and President of the Massachusetts Senate Stan Rosenberg( @SenStan) talk budget, their next big hurdles, Olympics, and more.

On the budget, Rosenberg said, "If you look at the bottom line...we didn't spend every cent we had available."

"We felt as a House that we really had to give the Governor some tools to help the Governor address the issues with the T," said DeLeo.

On the Olympics, Rosenberg said, "we're concerned about the finances...so we wanted in advance to know what the plan is, what the cost associated with it is."
