Boston Police are looking for a suspect who shot and injured a seven-year-old boy in Dorchester over the weekend.
Seven-year-old Divan Silva Seven-year-old Divan Silva left his house Sunday afternoon to carry out the most mundane of tasks to buy tuna from a nearby store. He was on his bicycle and passing by Rodriguez Barber Shop when he was hit by a bullet. A 20-year-old man inside the barbershop was also hit, says Boston Police Commissioner Bill Evans.
"We believe most likely the 20-year-old was the targeted individual," Evans said.
Police are looking for a male suspect 14- to 18-years-old, about 5 foot, 8 inches, wearing a red hoodie — who may have jumped into a white, four-door sedan and fled the area. The boy is reportedly in good condition and out of intensive care.

"All our detectives are working this case real hard," Evans said. "We work all cases hard but it’s extra hard when it's a 7-year-old. "And anyone out there who has information, shame on you if you don’t come forward."
Silva is reportedly resting and in good condition. He was removed from the intensive care unit Tuesday.
