The closest thing to good news is that Boston's parking ban is scheduled to expire at 6pm Wednesday. And the MBTA has restored some of it's above ground service. Here are the details from the T as of 9 Wednesday morning:

Red Line: Service will be available from Ashmont to Alewife Stations, but rail service will remain suspended between JFK/UMass and Braintree Stations. Trains between Alewife and Ashmont are scheduled to arrive/depart about every six to seven minutes. Limited bus replacement service will be available between Braintree and JFK/UMass.

Orange Line: Service will be available from Wellington to Forest Hills Stations with limited substitute bus service from Oak Grove to Wellington. Trains between Wellington and Forest Hills are scheduled to arrive/depart every twelve minutes. Limited bus replacement service will be available between Oak Grove and Wellington.

Green Line: service will operate between Prudential and Lechmere (E-Line) as well as Kenmore and Lechmere Stations (B branch) with limited trolley service operating in both directions on the C and D branches. As of the start of service today, limited trolley service has been restored from Kenmore to Cleveland Circle on the C branch. Trolleys between North Station and Kenmore will depart/arrive every five to six minutes. 

Along the B branch, Route 57 buses will run its regular route, which makes stops between Packards Corner and Kenmore Stations. Limited substitute bus shuttles will be provided between Packards Corner and Boston College, making stops at all stations. 

Along the E branch, Route 39 buses will make stops between Symphony and Heath Street. 

The Blue Line is serving all stations between Wonderland and Bowdoin Stations. Trains will depart/arrive every seven to eight minutes.

Service remains suspended on the Mattapan Trolley Line. A limited bus replacement service will be available.

Commuter Rail will operate on a modified weekday schedule through Friday, February 20, but with significant delays and several canceled trips. Revised schedules are available below.

Buses, including the Silver Line, will operate on a weekday schedule with delays due to traffic and road conditions.
