And trash in some neighborhoods is piling up with garbage trucks unable to access Boston’s notoriously narrow streets made narrower by piles of snow and stranded cars.

In Chinatown, snow drifts on even the main road here are dotted with plastic bags big and small– the throwaways from restaurants. A resident named Sue wants to know why. She says the trash pickup in the area is generally good but the combination of icy mounds and idling cars are creating a real headache for the people of this downtown neighborhood.
