It’s been 10 years since Massachusetts made same-sex marriage a reality in this country, and in that time, the issue has gone from politically charged to a political no-brainer. But now, Massachusetts candidates are finding there’s a lot more to the politics of sexual orientation than marriage equality.

Carl Sciortino ran for Congress last year after serving for almost 10 years as a state representative. He now heads up the AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts.
