Nobody thought it would go on this long-- more than three weeks of rallies by Market Basket employees demanding the return of ousted CEO Arthur T. Demoulas. This kind of broad based support is unprecedented- high level executives are working hand in hand with store managers, clerks, warehouse workers.
Is this effort a labor deja vous? Or something new, and predictive of the future of the workplace and of industry? Callie Crossley spoke with two who have been following the Market Basket protests very closely.
