For more than a century, Massachusetts was home to a mighty fleet that plied the oceans on the hunt for whales. Today only one wooden whaler remains, the Charles W. Morgan, which is owned by the Mystic Seaport Museum. Fresh off a complete renovation, the Morgan is sailing New England’s waters once again, and WGBH News Science Editor Heather Goldstone was one of the lucky few who got a chance to go aboard.
