I. The Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts says they’ve been overwhelmed with applicants volunteering to escort patients past anti-choice demonstrators ever since the Supreme Court’s ruling eliminating buffer zones a few weeks ago. What does a clinic escort do? How has their role changed since the SCOTUS ruling? Callie spoke Sarah Cyr-Mutty,  an experienced clinic escort volunteer and a community relations coordinator for Planned Parenthood of Massachusetts, and Jill Montgomery, a new clinic escort volunteer.

II. The thousands of unaccompanied children from Central America have crossed the border illegally and are now in the custody of border patrol have been all over the news. How much have America’s complex immigration policies helped escalate the political infighting? Callie sorted out the policy from the politics with Rachel Rosenbloom, a former immigration attorney, currently an Associate Professor of Law at Northeastern University Law School and Jason Corral an immigration lawyer in the Roslindale based Corral & Marrero law office.
