Police in Springfield are looking for a man who stole several gallons of peach vodka from a city liquor store.

Authorities say a man smashed a window at the Allen Street Package Store in the early morning hours Sunday and ran off with the vodka.

Police searched for the man with the help of dogs and a passer-by who pointed out the direction in which the suspect ran, but came up empty.
