Taped by WGBH Forum Network, The Boston Globe art critic Sebastian Smee and professor of art Paul Tucker visited Cambridge Forum to discuss why and how to look at art.

Smee and Tucker talk about how they learned to look at and appreciate art, reflecting on how relationships between light and color and shapes in a piece can lead to a deeper understanding.  They also discuss how museums exhibit art and why it's important.

This talk took place on April 30, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.
