It was a dramatic scene in Boston today as federal officials raided the offices of Touch 106.1 FM, an unlicensed radio station serving the city's communities of color. U.S. Marshalls and the FCC hauled broadcasting equipment from the Cheney Street studios this afternoon. Co-founder Charles Clemons, who ran for mayor last year, said the crackdown would leave a huge void in Boston’s airwaves.
WGBH News Adam Reilly was the only television reporter at the scene today.
