Boston’s biggest asset may be its Old World charm. No city can rival ours when it comes to showcasing antiquity. But that rich history puts at a bit of a disadvantage when it comes to competing against fully modern cities.
To help give Boston a leg up, state and city leaders announced today that public transit will run until 3 a.m. starting later this month. Mayor Walsh is referring to the “Night Owl” bus service, which was discontinued in 2005 because ridership was so low.
