Taped by WGBH Forum Network, Michael Ignatieff, former leader of the Liberal Party of Canada and Leader of the Official Opposition from 2008-2011 visited Harvard Bookstore to talk about his book Fire and Ashes: Success and Failure in Politics.
Ignatieff describes his experience in politics from being recruited to running to leading. He also explains why he wrote the book – for people that would one day go further than he did because as he says, "Failure is the teacher," not success.
