Taped by WGBH Forum Network, Erik Brynjolfsson and Andrew McAfee, visited the Brattle Theater in Harvard Square to discuss their new book, The Second Machine Age: Work, Progress, and Prosperity in a Time of Brilliant Technologies, with host Meghna Chakrabarti.
Brynjolfsson and McAfee talk about the future of technology from self-driving cars to robots doing middle-class jobs. They also refer to themselves as optimists when it comes to the future – that technology won't be taking all the jobs, rather that society will adapt.
