The 1975 murder of 15-year-old Martha Moxley in Connecticut might not have made waves here in Boston were it not for its connection to the Kennedy family.
Now, Michael Skakel, the nephew of Ethel Skakel Kennedy, could soon walk out of prison 12 years after being convicted of a Moxley's murder. This week, a Connecticut judge ordered a new trial for Skakel, who was convicted of Moxley's murder 27 years after her death and sentenced to 20 years to life in prison.
