The six-block site around the scene of the Boston Marathon bombing could soon reopen to the public.
The area has been closed since the attack on Monday while investigators painstakingly collect evidence.
A stream of visitors continues to arrive at a makeshift memorial that formed at the edge of the site in honor of the bombing victims.
Dan and Keri Arone, of Waltham, Mass., visited the memorial on Sunday with their 11-week-old daughter, Alexandria. The couple left behind running shoes.
Dan Arone ran the Marathon and finished the race about 40 minutes before the blasts. Keri Arone said she may have still been at the finish line when the blast occurred but had gone inside a nearby mall to feed Alexandria.
Boston police say there is no firm time yet for reopening the area.
