Police are investigating after two police officers were shot in Falmouth Friday night.
The shooting happened in front of 2 Ashley Court in East Falmouth near Seacoast Shores at 5:30 p.m., according to Massachusetts State Police spokesman David Procopio.
A suspect was also shot, according to a release from the Massachusetts State Police.
One of the officers was was shot in the torso but aided by the face he was wearing a ballistic vest. Both police officers were taken to Falmouth Hospital and are expected to survive.
The suspect was taken to Beth Israel in Plymouth and then flown to a Boston hospital.
