WGBH's Executive Arts Editor and host of Open Studio Jared Bowen joined Boston Public Radio Wednesday to talk about the best art exhibits and plays he's seen recently.

Bowen began by talking about his recent trip to Europe, where he was able to catch a new musical about Tina Turner's life called "TINA" and got to see an exhibit in Milan, Italy at the National Museum of Science and Technology that celebrated the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s death.

Boston may not be Europe, but it still has a thriving arts scene, according to Bowen, who gushed about the Huntington Theater Company's production of the Tony Award-winning play "Indecent" and the Apollo 11exhibit at the Houghton Library called "Small Steps, Giant Leaps."
