"The Garden Party"
When Celia and Pindar host their son Adam’s finance and her family, they are hoping for a pleasant getting-to-know-you evening. But, instead, the pre-wedding dinner under the stars is fraught with anticipated dread and unexpected desires. In the novel “The Garden Party,” author Grace Dane Mazur explores it all in a fictional day and night.

Critics describe the book as a “shimmering novel” with “echoes of Virginia Woolf and and E. M. Forster.” It is our June selection for “Bookmarked: The Under the Radar Book Club.” Grace Dane Mazur joins Callie in the studio.
