April 4, 2018 marks 50 years since the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King. Five decades after his death, a new group of faith leaders, social-justice activists and supporters around the nation are reviving Dr. King's final crusade – the Poor People’s Campaign. This national effort is reigniting King’s moral movement with a modern twist, with a mission to challenge and fight against racism, poverty, environmental issues and what followers call our nation’s war economy.
