WGBH veteran reporter, Arun Rath, is in Guantanamo Bay this week to continue his coverage of the military commissions trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed—the self-proclaimed mastermind of the 9/11 attacks. This is Rath’s fifth trip to the military base, known as Camp Justice, to cover the deliberations. As part of the ongoing partnership between WGBH News and NPR, Rath will be the sole public media journalist providing on-the-ground reporting. Beginning Monday, May 30 through Friday, June 3, Rath will report live from the base with stories featured across 89.7 WGBH News programs, NPR, and The World, as well as digital features on wgbhnews.org. Follow Rath’s coverage throughout the week on the air, online, and on social media @WGBHNews and @ArunRath, and tune in on Facebook from 12:30 to 1 p.m. EDT for daily Facebook Live check-ins.
