Boston Globe reporters Jenna Russell and Scott Helman joined Jim and Margery on Boston Public Radio to talk about their new book, Long Mile Home. Russell and Helman’s book chronicles the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings, and the journey back to some sort of normalcy.

Russell and Helman follow seven characters in the book — the two bombing suspects; bombing victim Heather Abbott; police officer Shana Cottone; Dr. David King, trauma surgeon at MGH; Krystle Campbell, who was killed in the bombing; and Dave McGillivray, race director of the Marathon.

Here’s what Helman and Russell had to say about their book.
