Gov. Deval Patrick hinted yesterday to POLITICO that he's open to some sort of vague, future bid for national office. Patrick has been coy about his post-gubernatorial prospects up to this point.

On January 23rd, he told Jim and Margery the following:

PATRICK: I am not running for anything else.

BRAUDE: Ever?

PATRICK: Well, maybe one day. But not in the foreseeable future.

Boston Globe columnist Joan Vennochi and WGBH's Peter Kadzis joined Jim and Margery to talk about Gov. Patrick, the race to replace him in the Bay State, and other political headlines.
