Waltham resident Jennifer Martel was killed last week, allegedly murdered by the son of Red Sox announcer Jerry Remy. Jared Remy was released earlier in the week after an alleged domestic violence incident involving Martel. Should the Middlesex District Attorney have been more sensitive to the situation? Was it dangerous to release Remy? Should there have been compulsory charges for domestic violence? Margery Eagan and Sue O'Connell — filling in for Jim Braude — discussed it.
