On February 9, 2019, Brian O’Donovan broadcast A Celtic Sojourn live from the WGBH Studio at the Boston Public Library. Brian talked with musician Dave Hollander about the expanded Irish/Scottish roots programming at the Berklee College of Music. And Gerry Katz from the Boston Bluegrass Union joined the show to talk about the 26th annual Joe Val Bluegrass Festival, taking place February 18 - 20 in Framingham.
The audience also enjoyed live and pre-recorded traditional and contemporary Celtic music from some of the area's best musicians, including Sunniva Brynell and Yaniv Yacoby, Mari Black and more.
