The Commissioner of Common Sense Emily Rooney, the host of WGBH News' Meet The Press, joined Boston Public Radio Friday for her weekly segment and, of course, to give us her famous list of fixations and fulminations.
Scientists revealed the first ever picture of a black hole this week. The picture is undoubtedly impressive, but for those without astrophysics degrees, the concepts of a black hole are still confusing despite the thousand words the picture offers.
"What is infinity? What do you mean infinity," Rooney said as she struggled to grasp what a black hole actually is. Rooney's list this week followed on the theme of ideas she could not grasp like tax law and self-driving cars.
