If you think you’re getting more work done by being plugged into your smartphone, new research says think again.
In her new book, “Sleeping With Your Smartphone,” Harvard Business School professor Leslie Perlow finds that we can get just as much done by having an efficient work day that doesn’t spill over into our evenings and weekends. But the trick to this is to have everyone you work with, including the CEO, buy in to the practice of opting out of being plugged in 24/7.
