In another shining example of how WGBH News’ deep knowledge of local politics plays out on the national stage, political reporter Adam Reilly headed to Iowa last week to cover Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren’s first trip since forming her exploratory presidential committee. Throughout the weekend, Adam joined Senator Warren on five campaign stops in Council Bluffs, Sioux City, Storm Lake, Des Moines and Ankeny. He observed Senator Warren as she presented her national platform to Midwestern audiences who packed bars, theatres and community centers. Last night, Adam shared his insights on MSNBC’s The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell (watch his interview around the 7:10 mark in the above video).
