Community Canvas is an initiative presented by The Culture Show where GBH features artwork from community members on our Digital Mural.
Today’s mural features artwork by Stephanie Vecellio. In April 2023, she drew the outlines of this piece in pen at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum when the nasturtium flowers were in full bloom. She then filled in the spaces with marker.
Vecellio is from Connecticut and studied Illustration at Rhode Island School of Design. She designs, draw pictures, and make things out of Somerville, MA.
