WGBH hosts Boston Public Schools, Excellence for All Capstone Showcase
Today , WGBH is hosting Excellence for All (EFA) students, teachers, parents, Boston Public Schools (BPS) administrators, and community leaders, for EFA’s end-of-year Capstone Showcase. EFA is an initiative of the Boston Public Schools’ Office of Opportunity Gaps that provides access to academic enrichment in STEM, world languages, and socio-emotional learning to underserved students. Selected EFA students will demonstrate the capstone of their year-long work to BPS and WGBH leadership and staff as well as other community leaders. Students used resources from PBS LearningMedia, public broadcasting’s free, K-12 digital resource site, to research their projects on topics such as immigration, affordable housing, food inequity, and winter storms. Congratulations to EFA students and their teachers on producing outstanding capstone projects.
