Front Row Boston: Live at Fraser welcomes jazz musician Sam "Trump” Harris. From Houston, TX, he has been a student of music from first picking up the trumpet at age 7. Since moving to Chicago in 2009 to obtain his fine arts degree in Jazz Studies at Columbia College Chicago, he has become heavily involved in the city’s live music scene as a band leader, sideman, mentor and curator.

Trump’s 2018 debut album, Purple Skies, is a work of art that documents the early maturation of his solo artistry, covering topics of love and romance, family, inspiration, societal interdependence, and the Black American plight.

It's promising to be a night filled with cool vibes and sophisticated soul in WGBH’s Fraser Performance Studio. More info
