Since 1996, Preserve has made products that are good for both people and the planet. After he worked for many years in the finance and consulting worlds, Eric’s appreciation for the natural world inspired him to apply his professional experience toward preserving the environment. After studying the recycling system at the time, Eric noticed a missing link: more people were recycling, but very few manufacturers were putting recycled materials to good use. Eric addressed this gap by founding Preserve and dedicating his new venture to using the Earth’s resources more efficiently and responsibly. Dr. Kelly Kryc is the Director of Conservation Policy and Leadership focused on transforming science into action that protects the blue planet. Dr. Kryc is an energy and environment policy professional who formerly held positions with the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, the U.S. State Department, The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and the U.S. Department of the Interior.

Walter Jehne is an internationally known Australian soil microbiologist and climate scientist. He is the founder of Healthy Soils Australia. In 2017, Jehne participated in an invitation-only United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization conference in Paris aimed at bringing soil into the next Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report.

Prof. Slatyer has led innovative theoretical research on scenarios where the dark matter couples to much lighter particles, and hence may experience long-range forces; her work has helped inspire a broad experimental program to search for such particles. Awards include the 2017 Henry Primakoff Award for Early-Career Particle Physics by the Division of Particles and Fields of the American Physical Society; and the 2014 Bruno Rossi Prize of the American Astronomical Society.

“Mic L. Angelo” (a.k.a. “Mic Nice” “Hollywood Black” or the “Picture Perfect Poet”) is a Nigerian-American Hip-Hop artist. Inspired by the impact of the creative works of the Italian Renaissance era, Mic L. Angelo uses his name as a metaphor for the type of creativity he strives to apply to his music and other creative works. Mic’s love for music began when he was a young child living in Corpus Christi, Texas, listening to music from EMPD, Geto Boys, Rakim, and other acts from Hip-Hop’s “golden age”. The love for music transcended regions as Mic moved to Providence, Rhode Island and began his career as a freestyle battle rapper in his early teens. Mic spent his remaining teenage years battling in hip-hop cyphers and performing in shows all over the Ocean State. Mic L. Angelo moved once more to Boston, Massachusetts (the place he now calls home) to attend college at Northeastern University. Mic spent his college night-life performing on various mix-tapes and Hip-Hop shows. He was able to cultivate his growing fan base by creating music with greater sensibility to his life experiences and the world around him. Now in his post-college life, Mic L. Angelo’s maturity as a man is fully expressed through his music with confidence and composure.

Dr. Teng Biao is an academic lawyer and a human rights activist. He was formerly a Lecturer in the China University of Political Science and Law, a visiting Fellow at Harvard Law Schoo, Yale Law School, and the Chinese University of Hongkong. Since 2003, Teng has provided counsel in numerous other human rights cases, including those of rural rights advocate Chen Guangcheng, rights defender Hu Jia, the religious freedom case of Falungong, and numerous death penalty cases. He co-founded “Open Constitution Initiative” (Gongmeng) and also the founder and President of China Against the Death Penalty, Beijing. His research interest includes human rights, Constitutionalism, criminal justice, legal theory, democratic theory, transitional justice and social movement. Theja is a Ph.D. candidate in Transportation Engineering at Northeastern University. Bicycling has been his primary mode of travel since he moved to Boston in 2012. In 2015, he started studying bicycle networks as a part of his graduate studies and has extensive experience in developing GIS-based tools to analyze bicycle networks. **Michael Cunningham** is an American novelist and screenwriter. He is best known for his 1998 novel \_The Hours\_, which won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and the PEN/Faulkner Award in 1999. Cunningham is a senior lecturer of creative writing at Yale University.
