Donald Boudreaux is a professor of economics at George Mason University, and a former President of the libertarian think tank, Foundation for Economic Education. He has a Ph.D. in economics from Auburn University and a law degree from University of Virginia.

Vincent A. Cianci, Jr. earned his, BA in Government from Fairfield University, his MA in Political Science from Villanova University and his JD at Marquette University Law School. Cianci was elected mayor six times and voted “America’s Most Innovative Mayor” by the Association of Government Officials. During Buddy’s tenure, Providence dramatically changed from a lackluster city to being named by *Money Magazine *as the “Best City in which to live in the East.” After resigning as mayor under much controversy, and a conviction, he now hosts several local radio shows and shares his insights and witty analysis of Rhode Island’s issues as the chief political commentator on ABC-6, WLNE-TV Providence, RI. His own memoir* Politics and Pasta *is full of surprising stories and outrageous anecdotes.

McKinnon is a graduate student at Harvard working with Peter Huybers on problems in climate science. She studies the relationship between annual and interannual surface temperature variability.

Waldman is President of the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law, a nonpartisan law and policy institute that focuses on improving the systems of democracy and justice. Waldman is one of the nation’s most prominent public interest lawyers, and is an expert on the presidency, democracy and the Constitution. The Brennan Center is a leading legal voice on election law, Constitutional law, government reform and racial justice. In 2012 it helped lead the successful effort to block laws that could have made it harder for 5 million eligible citizens to vote. The Boston Globe called the Center “indispensable.” Waldman has led the Center since 2005. Mr. Waldman was Director of Speechwriting for President Bill Clinton from 1995-99, serving as Assistant to the President. He was responsible for writing or editing nearly 2,000 speeches, including four State of the Union and two Inaugural Addresses. He was Special Assistant to the President for Policy Coordination from 1993-95. As the top White House policy aide on campaign finance reform, he drafted the Clinton administration's public financing proposal. He is the author of The Second Amendment: A Biography (Simon & Schuster, May 2014). Publishers Weekly called it “the best narrative of its subject.”

Dr. Suzanna Danuta Walters’ work is centered on questions of gender, sexuality, family, and popular culture and she is a frequent commentator on these issues for the media. Her forthcoming book, The Tolerance Trap: How God, Genes, and Good Intentions are Sabotaging Gay Equality (NYU Press) explores how notions of tolerance limit the possibilities for real liberation and deep social belonging. Walters’ previous book, All the Rage: The Story of Gay Visibility in America (University of Chicago Press, 2001), examined the explosion of gay visibility in culture and politics over the past 15 years and raised pressing questions concerning the politics of visibility around sexual identity. The book was a finalist for numerous literary awards (including the Lambda Literary Award) and was the subject of radio and television interviews and discussions, culminating in a 15-city book tour in the Fall of 2001 and Spring 2002. Her other works include books on feminist cultural theory (Material Girls: Making Sense of Feminist Cultural Theory), mothers and daughters in popular culture (Lives Together/Worlds Apart: Mothers and Daughters in Popular Culture) and numerous articles and book chapters on feminist theory, queer theory and LGBT studies, and popular culture. In 2004, Walters founded the first Ph.D. program in gender studies at Indiana University, where she was a Professor of Gender Studies and held positions in Sociology and Communication and Culture. Previously, Walters was Professor of Sociology and Director of Women’s Studies at Georgetown University. She was also a Visiting Senior Scholar at the Center for Narrative Research at the University of East London. She received her Ph.D. from the Graduate Center, City University of New York in 1990.

Devine is a founding partner and President of The Arkin Group LLC and a 32-year veteran of the Central Intelligence Agency (“CIA”). While at the CIA, Mr. Devine served as both Acting Director and Associate Director of the CIA’s operations outside the United States and, in this capacity, he had supervisory authority over thousands of CIA employees involved in sensitive missions throughout the world. Mr. Devine held numerous other senior positions at the CIA such as Chief of the Latin American Division; and head of the Counternarcotics Center, which was responsible for coordinating and building close cooperation between all major U.S. and foreign law enforcement agencies in tracking worldwide narcotics and crime organizations in the 1980s. Mr. Devine also headed the CIA’s Afghan Task Force, which successfully countered Soviet aggression in the region. He was awarded the CIA’s Meritorious Officer Award for this accomplishment. Mr. Devine’s international experience with the U.S. government also included postings to Latin America and Europe. During his career with the CIA, Mr. Devine was involved in organizing, planning and executing countless sensitive projects in virtually all areas of intelligence, including analysis, operations, technology and management. He is the recipient of the Agency’s Distinguished Intelligence Medal and several meritorious awards. He is a recognized expert in Intelligence matters and has written op-ed and articles for The Washington Post, The Financial Times, The Miami Herald and The World Policy Journal. He has also made guest appearances on CBS, NBC, MSNBC, Fox News, as well as the History and Discovery channels, PBS and ABC Radio. Mr. Devine resides in New York City and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He has a Top Secret U.S. Government security clearance. Mr. Devine also is a Board Member of the CIA Memorial Foundation. He speaks Spanish and Italian.

Sheldon Krimsky is co-editor (with Jeremy Gruber) of The GMO Deception, released June 2014. Sheldon Krimsky received his undergraduate and Master's degrees in physics from CUNY and Purdue University respectively, and his MA and PhD in philosophy from Boston University. His research is focused on the linkages between science/technology, ethics/values and public policy. Dr. Krimsky is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Council for Responsible Genetics. His distinguished record of professional service has included many appointments in the public interest: he was a member of the NIH Recombinant DNA Advisory Committee; a consultant to the Presidential Commission for the Study of Ethical Problems in Medicine and Biomedical and Behavioral Research, and consultant to the Congressional Office of Technology Assessment. Dr. Krimsky also served on a study panel for the American Civil Liberties Union that formulated a policy on civil liberties and scientific research. And he chaired the Committee on Scientific Freedom and Responsibility for the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
