  • Nora Quinlan has been the Director of Reference at the Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center at Nova Southeastern University since 2001. Nora's recent publications include articles on the Great Depression and Florida libraries, the 1918 influenza pandemic and its impact on libraries, providing reference services in a joint use library, and staff recruitment for a joint use library.
  • Heria received a BFA in photography from Florida International University, Miami in 1992, and his MFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Boston in 1994. He has taught photography and graphic design for seven years at FIU, Miami Dade College, and the Art Institute Miami. His photography has been exhibited locally and is in numerous private collections. Currently he is an artist-in-residence at ArtCenter/South Florida.
  • Klara Kristalova lives and works in Norrtelje, Sweden. Kristalova's work is featured in public collections including Moderna Museet, Stockholm.
  • Deborah Goldman received her BA from University of Rochester in 1969 and her MFA in 1975 from Cranbrook Academy of Art.
  • Allen Hill, senior vice president for UPS, manages a human resources organization that serves more than 400,000 employees worldwide. Committed to maintaining UPS's reputation as an employer of choice, Hill oversees the company's strategy in training, developing, and retaining a diverse and highly-skilled workforce. Hill received his BA from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN., and a JD from the Nashville School of Law. He also completed the Executive Education Program at Emory University's Goizueta Business School. While attending college, Hill began his UPS career in 1976 as a part-time package loader and sorter. He held positions of increasing responsibility in operations and human resources before joining the legal group in 1988 as counsel to the human resources function. In 1994, he was promoted to coordinator of the corporate legal group and then became department manager in 1995. From 2004 through 2005, he served as the company's senior vice president of Legal, Public Affairs and Public Relations, general counsel and corporate secretary. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Hill is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, American Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, and the Advisory Board of the American Employment Law Council. He also chairs the Board of Trustees of The UPS Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and the Human Resources Policy Association.
  • Rita Wuebbeler is founder and president of InterGlobe Cross-Cultural Business Services, Inc.. She designs and conducts cross-cultural awareness programs and team building workshops, pre-departure orientations, repatriation programs and cultural business briefings for countries and regions in Europe, Latin America and Asia. Wuebbeler holds a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from Mainz University in Germany and successfully completed four intercultural training programs at the Summer Institute for Intercultural Training in Portland, Oregon. She has presented at intercultural and industry-specific conferences worldwide and is a frequent speaker on intercultural topics. She was a founding member of the US-chapter of the Society for Intercultural Training, Education and Research (SIETAR USA) and currently holds the position of Advisory Board Member within the association.
