  • **Lori Lobenstine **grew up in a family of community and union organizers, and decided early on that working with youth was her passion and her route to creating change. She has been a youthworker for the past twenty years, in settings as diverse as classrooms, basketball courts, museums and foreign countries. Most recently she has been a Director of Teen Programs for Girls Incorporated of Holyoke, a BEST trainer (teaching youth development concepts to other youthworkers), and a very successful basketball coach. Throughout these experiences, she has struggled with the challenges of creating new designs with youth, in fields that are often top-heavy and funding-driven.
  • Barry Werth is an award-winning journalist and the acclaimed author of six books. His most recent book is The Antidote, a close-up of the upstart pharmaceutical company Vertex and the ferocious but indispensable world of pharma that it inhabits. His previous book, Banquet at Delmonico’s, was named one of Barnes & Noble’s top ten nonfiction books of 2009 and one of Amazon’s top ten history books of the year.
  • Katrine joined Editas Medicine as President Chief Executive Officer in 2014, shortly after the company was founded. Katrine has been part of the biotechnology industry for over 25 years. Before Editas, she was Entrepreneur-in-Residence at The Broad Institute, a biomedical and genomic research center, and prior to that, she was President and CEO of Avila Therapeutics. Earlier, Katrine was Vice President, Business Development at Adnexus Therapeutics, and she held several positions at Biogen in business development, commercial operations, and portfolio strategy. She was also part of the healthcare team at the venture firm Highland Capital Partners. She is a graduate of Cornell University. Katrine currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Genocea Biosciences (NASDAQ: GNCA) and is a Board member of Galapagos NV (EURONEXT and NASDAQ: GLPG) and of BIO – the Biotechnology Innovation Organization.
  • Dr. Joep Muijrers, Ph.D., has been Chief Financial Officer of PureTech Health plc since April 24, 2018. Dr. Muijrers served as Director at Karuna Therapeutics, Inc. until July 2019. Dr. Muijrers served as Director of Corporate Finance and Capital Markets at Fortis Merchant Banking and focused exclusively on the global biotech sector. In his position, he was responsible for the origination and execution of numerous financial and strategic transactions for biotech companies located in Europe as well as in the United States. He served as Partner and Portfolio Manager at Life Sciences Partners BV since May 3, 2007.
  • Molly Wood is the host of Marketplace Tech, a weekday show that helps listeners understand the business behind the technology that's rewiring our lives. In addition, she joins forces with Marketplace host Kai Ryssdal to connect the dots on the economy, tech and culture as co-host of the podcast Make Me Smart with Kai and Molly. Molly has covered technology in print, web and broadcast media. Before joining Marketplace in 2015, she was a tech columnist at The New York Times and an executive editor at CNET. Previously, she launched the CNET podcast "Buzz Out Loud," one of the early successes in podcasting, which fans still celebrate. In the web video space, she started an original tech-focused video series at The New York Times called "Machine Learning," and she also created and hosted the popular web show "Always on with Molly Wood." The ambitious tech series ultimately shot episodes all over the world. A native Montanan, Molly is now based in the surprisingly wildlife-filled Oakland Hills, where she lives with her son, Eli, dog Reggie and many internet-connected devices.
  • Rob Donnelly is an illustrator living in Vermont who combines clay, paper, and digital techniques to create his work. He has been recognized by The Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, International Motion Arts Awards and The MagazinePublishers of America Awards. He is a current member of SCBWI and The Society of illustrators. Clients include Scholastic, Disney Interactive, NBC, NPR, Cricket Media, and many more.   • Wilson-taty Kapang-Ndjibu, along with his wife, Naomi, and their infant daughter, survived a harrowing journey from their native Congo, through South Africa, to Brazil, Mexico and finally coming to rest in Boston in 2011. PAIR Project was instrumental in helping Wilson and his family apply for asylum and LZF grant recipient, Refugee Immigration Ministry, helped Wilson and his family settle in to life in Massachusetts. Wilson, Naomi, and their two children live in Haverhill where he serves on the Board of Directors of Temple Emanu-El.
  • Sarath is a co-founder of PrYSM. Born in the Thai Refugee camp Khao I Dang, his family fled Cambodia during the war and immigrated to his hometown of Revere, MA. To cope with the violence, pain, and injustices facing Southeast Asian Americans, he became a community organizer, centered around the unique intersections of race, class, gender, and sexuality. Sarath is also biggest X-Men fanatic you'd ever meet.
  • With a doctorate in pastoral counseling, Dr. Egmont has focused on the human needs and social services of newcomer communities, immigrant rights, and the complex dynamic two-way process of immigrant integration. His work has led to the creation of BCSSW's Immigrant Integration Lab, a pioneering endeavor in relating demographic shifts of developed nations, social policy, and social practices that foster the full economic, social and civic participation of the newcomer to studying the mechanisms of incorporation by the receiving society. Prior work as a missionary educator and in executive leadership of anti-poverty social service agencies makes the issue of applied research his priority. Dr Egmont is the Co-Chair of the Governor's Advisory Council on Immigrants and Refugees, having served as an adviser to six governors.
  • Professor of Geophysics, MIT; Co-director of Lorenz Center. Dr. Rothman’s work has resulted in fundamental advances in subjects ranging from seismology and fluid flow to biogeochemistry and paleobiology. He has also made significant contributions to research in statistical physics. Daniel Rothman is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and the American Geophysical Union and is the recipient of the 2016 Levi L. Conant Prize from the American Mathematical Society
  • K Chess is the author of _Famous Men Who Never Lived_ (Tin House Books, 2019). Her writing has appeared in The Chicago Tribune’s Printer’s Row Journal, PANK, Salon, Tor.com and other outlets. Her short stories have been honored by the Nelson Algren Literary Award and the Pushcart Prize. K earned a BA from Vassar College and an MFA from Southern Illinois University. She was awarded a W.K.
