  • Elaine Isaak is the author of The Singer’s Crown and its sequels. As E. C. Ambrose, she wrote The Dark Apostle historical fantasy series about medieval surgery, which concluded in 2018 with book 5, Elisha Daemon, and as E. Chris Ambrose, the Bone Guard international thrillers. Elaine has written how-to articles for the Writer Magazine, and non-fiction at Clarkesworld, and taught at the Odyssey Speculative Fiction Workshop. An art school drop-out, Elaine continues to create wearable art and sculpture. Elaine also works as part-time adventure guide.
  • N.S. Dolkart is the author of the Godserfs trilogy of theological epic fantasy novels, beginning with 2016’s Silent Hall and concluding with this past October’s A Breach In The Heavens. In non-writing life, he has taught dementia care and Israeli folk dancing (but not at the same time), sung as Darth Vader in an opera, and sired two children who will one day enslave all the nations of the earth as foretold by prophecy.
  • Allison K. Lange is an assistant professor of history at the Wentworth Institute of Technology. She received her PhD in history from Brandeis University and studies the long nineteenth century with an interest in gender, power, and political images in the United States. Various institutions have supported her work, including the National Endowment for the Humanities, Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, Library of Congress, and American Antiquarian Society. Lange has presented her work at conferences such as the American Historical Association, Organization of American Historians, and Berkshire Conference of Women Historians. Her writing has appeared in Imprint, The Atlantic, andThe Washington Post. She also consults and works as a guest curator with the National Women’s History Museum and the Boston Public Library’s Leventhal Map Center. Lange is currently completing a manuscript, under contract with the University of Chicago Press, on the ways that woman’s rights activists and their opponents used images to define gender and power during the US woman suffrage movement. In preparation for the 2020 centennial of the Nineteenth Amendment, she is curating exhibitions at the Massachusetts Historical Society and the Schlesinger Library at Harvard University.
  • The Rev. Stephen T. Ayres has served as Vicar of the Old North Church since 1997 and as Executive Director of the Old North Foundation since 2012. Vicar Ayres was ordained as an Episcopal priest in 1980 and has served parishes in Missouri, New York, and Massachusetts. He has an undergraduate degree in Comparative Religion from Hamilton College, an M.Div. from the Episcopal Divinity School, and an MA in Urban Policy from Tufts University. At Old North, Vicar Ayres is responsible for the management and preservation of the historic site. He lives near the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown with his wife Lisa and son Matthew.
  • Gavin is Director of Programs at MA historical Society. He has worked in public history, in some form or another, since the late 1980s. He develops community networks and builds public awareness for organizations.
  • Jess Leber has over 20 years of experience and expertise as a microbiologist, molecular biologist, and metabolic engineer. He received his training at MIT, UC San Francisco, and UC Berkeley. Until 2008, Dr. Leber was an Assistant Professor of Microbiology at the University of Chicago, before joining renewable fuels company Joule Unlimited, where he served in both scientific and commercial roles. As Director of Business Development at Ginkgo, Jess brings his technical background to help identify commercial opportunities.
  • Espinosa is the Chief Executive Officer at En Volá, a media company and agency that generates creative content for the cannabis industry, aiming to educate, activate and finally connect the industry integrating communication and lines of business in different areas.
  • Vinit Nijhawan was Managing Director, Office of Technology Development at Boston University. Vinit teaches MBA courses on Entrepreneurship at BU Questrom School of Business, over 300 students have taken his courses. He has over 30 years experience building five startups.
  • Mara Gordon is Founder of Aunt Zelda's, Calla Spring Wellness, and Zelda Therapeutics. Mara specializes in the development of treatment protocols utilizing Bio Pharmaceutical grade cannabis extracts for seriously ill patients in California. She co-founded Aunt Zelda's, Calla Spring Wellness, and Zelda Therapeutics in order to provide real outcomes for patients with serious diseases.
  • Dr. McNabb is the CEO of Cannabis Community Care and Research Network (C3RN) a cannabis-focused research and project implementation company. Dr. McNabb has a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH) from Boston University School of Public Health. She has over 15 years of experience implementing sexual and reproductive health programs mainly in Africa and Haiti, including innovative digital health tools for research and project implementation. She is widely published in scientific journals and joined the cannabis industry in early 2017 to apply her experience to advance the science and integration of medical cannabis as a treatment alternative. Her goal is to create a center of excellence for medical cannabis care and research in New England.
  • Frankie Vanaria is a Boston University PhD student specializing in Hollywood cinema and film theory. Vanaria’s work focuses on how non-native filmmakers have worked to challenge dominant ideologies in order to give audiences alternative viewing experiences. Vanaria is particularly interested in the work of Mexican filmmaker Guillermo del Toro and wrote his MA thesis on del Toro’s work.
  • Kevin is the CSO and Founder of Medicinal Genomics and has pioneered the genomics of cannabis and hemp to build a stronger scientific environment (Kannapedia.net) for the study of cannabis based therapeutics and blockchain technologies for tracking and verifying cannabis genetics. Previously, Kevin was the CSO of Courtagen Life Sciences, Inc., and was Vice President and Director of R&D of Life Technologies where he managed the development of Life Technologies next generation SOLiD sequencing technology.
