This Lowell Lecture features Rev. Dr. Micah L. McCreary. He will explore the transformative journey of becoming a trauma-responsive leader by embracing, understanding, and transcending personal and collective wounds.
Rev. Dr. Micah L. McCreary has served as the 12th President of New Brunswick Theological Seminary since 2017. A respected scholar and speaker, Dr. McCreary is the author of Trauma and Race: A Pathway to Wellbeing (Fortress Press, 2023). He is widely sought after as a preacher and teacher, frequently addressing topics such as trauma and race, church hurt and suicidal ideation, and the intersections of spirituality and psychology. He currently serves on the boards of Salvation and Social Justice and Carrier Pigeon Post, a publication supporting returning citizens.
