In *Farm Sanctuary*, Gene Baur provides an investigation of the ethical questions involved in the production of beef, poultry, pork, milk, and eggs -- and what each of us can do to stop the mistreatment of farm animals and promote compassion. He details the triumphs and the disappointments of more than twenty years on the front lines of the animal protection movement. Gene Baur is the president and co-founder of Farm Sanctuary, the first animal rescue organization dedicated to farmed animals. He has been at the forefront of animal rights since he began the sanctuary in 1986. Borders Books in Buckhead hosted this event.
