The Boston Public Library continues its lecture series on revolutionary ideas with Sarah Botstein, a filmmaker who has worked closely with Ken Burns for over 30 years as a part of Florentine Films. Sarah talked about her latest film, "The American Revolution," historical filmmaking, and the revolutionary techniques that Florentine Films uses to bring history to life.
Botstein was in conversation with Imari Paris Jeffries, Executive Director of Embrace Boston. They were introduced by BPL President David Leonard.

Sarah Botstein has worked with Ken Burns for nearly 30 years and produced some of his most popular and acclaimed documentaries on PBS. Most recently, she produced and co-directed The American Revolution. Her previous work includes The U.S. and the Holocaust, Hemingway, College Behind Bars, The Vietnam War, Prohibition, The War, and Jazz.
