Cape Cod Baseball League All-Star Game

Tune to WCAI for the Cape Cod League All-Star Game, live from Whitehouse Field, Harwich, July 28, at 6pm.

For the sixth consecutive year WCAI, the Cape and Islands NPR station, will provide live broadcast of the annual Cape Cod Baseball League All-Star Game. This year’s game is on Saturday, July 28 at 6pm, with play-by-play by Dan D’uva and analysis from Kevin McGonigle.  Between innings the broadcast will feature WCAI radio host Steve Junker conducting on-field interviews with some of the players.


“The Cape League is one of the most respected amateur leagues in the country, and WCAI is proud to be part of this summer tradition, bringing the game to listeners on the radio and on the web,” said John Voci WCAI Station Manager. The WCAI coverage of the game can be heard on 90.1, 91.1 and 94.3 FM and streamed live on capeandislands.org.




Some of the finest college ballplayers from around the country are invited to spend the summer on the Cape and play on one of the teams. They are unpaid and stay with volunteer host families throughout the Cape. In return they often mow their host family's lawn or do other chores.
