  • We’ve got a body. We’ve got a bunch of potential suspects all acting kinda fishy. We’ve got a witness who can confirm that our victim Matt was being chased the last time he was seen alive. Things are looking up for ol’ Cassie! Well… sort of. Whilst the detective side of things is humming along nicely, her attempt to use her son to spy on her dad isn’t going that well.
  • After last week the metaphorical cat (i.e. Matt the murder victim) is well and truly out of the bag, and our suspect pool of formerly newly qualified cops knows it. This week, we dive right into the emotional fallout from the press conference, featuring all four of our suspects’ sleepless nights which, in the case of Family Therapist, is so bad she decides to fake a flu to stay home and stew. Not staying home, but absolutely stewing, is Cassie’s boss, who is mad as hell that she’s continuing to investigate a bunch of former/current cops when there’s an obvious and conveniently deceased non-police scapegoat in Dead Hoarder.
  • Last week, Cassie was red-taped back into her job, the team found a headless, handless body in a freezer, and we met a bunch of people who may or may not have committed a murder right after qualifying as police officers, but who definitely were in a car where one of them got caught driving drunk. That dude (mercilessly given the recap moniker Dead Hoarder by yours truly) recently, well, died, leaving the aforementioned body in his freezer.

  • I can’t be the only one who’s been waiting with bated breath for TWO YEARS for Unforgotten to come back, right? Surely there are other Nicola Walker stans; other Sanjeev Bhaskar disciples, who have bided our time for the triumphant return of this wonderful series? Anyway, quick recap within a recap: last season followed the cold case of a young woman who was found dead off the side of a motorway after disappearing on New Year’s eve. I won’t say who the killer is just in case you haven’t seen season three yet, although if that’s you, what are you doing here? Go watch it!
  • Ok, where were we? As you may recall from last week’s episode, Third Wheel has abandoned the sinking ship of his parents’ Last Hurrah Vacation, Not Mandy Moore has returned home, and Knock-Off Jack has followed Third Wheel to Venice in a last ditch attempt to rekindle his relationship with his son, his wife, and his sense of whimsy.
  • It’s summer drama season over at MASTERPIECE, and we’ve got a brand new show: "Us."
  • GBH has plenty of heart-pounding dramas that may even have you asking, “Mare, who?”

  • Last week, FDR gave Martha a literal ship, the gang caught Eliza the Spy, and Olav doubled down on trying to become the eponymous main character of the song “Mr. Brightside.” What’s gonna happen this week, in the final episode? Only one way to find out — on with the show!
