A so-called “millionaire’s tax,” driver’s licenses for people without legal immigration status, dental insurance costs and alcohol sales. Those are the issues framing the four ballot questions for the upcoming Nov. 8 election.

And, following in the tradition of ballot questions, it takes more than one read to decipher what’s at stake.

Ballot Question 3 focuses on alcohol sales across the state. Would a new law give an unfair advantage to grocery and convenience stores, or be a boon for big liquor retailers?
