Last week the New York Times published an adaptation from a forthcoming book by two of its reporters that included new allegations about Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. The book contained new information about a sexual assault reportedly witnessed by a former classmate that the alleged victim says she does not remember. The published excerpt initially did not contain the part about the woman not remembering it — although it was added later in an editor’s note.
