Poll: New Hampshire Dems Like Biden, Progressive Policies
A new poll of first-in-the-nation Democratic primary voters in New Hampshire shows that race newcomer former Vice President Joe Biden is currently leading the pack with 20 percent support, followed by Sen. Bernie Sanders and Mayor Pete Buttigieg hovering around 12 percent each. The poll also shows a strong preference for a range of left-leaning policy proposals, from higher taxes on the wealthy to free college and Medicare for All. Meanwhile, a new national poll from Quinnipiac released today also shows Biden with a similarly wide lead — although with Sen. Elizabeth Warren coming in second, a new occurrence in the race.

To discuss what it all means, Jim Braude was joined by David Paleologos, lead pollster for Suffolk University, and Jesse Mermell, Democratic strategists and former communications director for Gov. Deval Patrick.
