On Tuesday, producer and filmmaker Oscar Guerra joined Boston Public Radio to discuss his latest project for FRONTLINE, a 30-minute documentary called “Love, Life & the Virus.” The film follows a Guatemalan family living in Connecticut, and one mother’s journey to reunite with her newborn son after contracting a severe case of COVID-19.

"I’ve had the pleasure to work with a lot of working class families and document their stories, and their resilience is inspiring,” Guerra said. "The way in which they perceive life... it’s just hard work, it’s community, it’s effort, it’s being there for their families."
