Climate change turned up the heat this summer — the sweltering temperatures in August and September were the hottest since global records began in 1880.

Meanwhile, two significant efforts to fight climate change are taking root. In a first of its kind agreement, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut are working together to build more offshore wind farms.
