Chef Peter Davis of Henrietta’s Table and Chef Erin Miller of Urban Hearth joined us for our weekly news quiz in the WGBH studio at the Boston Public Library.
The chefs promoted WGBH's Food & Wine Festival: Chef's Gala, which will be hosted by Jim and Margery on October 10th. Both of the chefs' affiliated restaurants will be featured at the event.
The two spoke about how they both focus on farm-to-table, local cooking.
"People started paying more attention to what they're eating," Davis said. "Part of our job as a chef is to be educators, and we need to teach people better ways to eat."
"We have such wonderful farms here and beautiful produce, so why would I need to source from anywhere further?" Miller said.
