Emily Rooney, host of WGBH News' Beat The Press, joined Boston Public Radio Friday for her weekly segment and to give us her famous list of fixations and fulminations.
This week, Rooney gave some advice to those heading to the new Encore Boston Harbor casino in Everett when it opens on Sunday.
Rooney warned patrons about minding the hidden cameras, the tacky decor and the lack of clocks, and advised them not to gamble on games they don't know.
"Stick to the simple things, like poker or blackjack," Rooney said.
