If pictures are worth a thousand words, then artwork may well be worth a million. This week, three national magazines released covers so powerful it almost looked like they coordinated the effort in response to what President Trump said about the events in Charlottesville.
It’s fair to say virtually no one saw the protests in Charlottesville coming with the force they did and, while the press is still sorting out some of the facts, one thing is clear: there are not two sides to this story.
