Amid scrutiny over President Donald Trump's unsubstantiated accusations that President Barack Obama ordered the wiretapping of Trump Tower, the White House on Monday unveiled a revamped version of a controversial travel ban. The revised executive order is set to take effect in ten days and does not include travel restrictions on those holding valid green cards and removes Iraq from the list of countries to which the order applies. Meanwhile, Trump’s weekend tweet storm has some congressional Democrats accusing the president of purposefully trying to divert attention from last week’s revelations involving Attorney General Jeff Sessions and his contacts with the Russian ambassador to the United States.
